And is it a problem that it's in the form of a compote? Fenton Art Glass always did know how to ensnare me, and this piece has won my heart magnificently.
How can I look at its gorgeous glowing green coloring and say no? How can I walk away from its Persian Medallion pattern, embossed with ornately interlaced patterns? It's double crimped ruffled top makes my knees weak, and the round base and thin neck makes me heart melt.
Yes, this 6.25 inch little beauty has done a number on me. It is in great condition, with the exception of a small chip at the bottom of the base. The chip blends in really well and is hard to notice. Created in the 1970's, this compote has genuine vintage flavor that makes me unable to look away. Fenton Art Glass is pulling out all the stops - and I can't resist any of them!
