This gorgeous piece was made by Fenton Art Glass in the 1970's. The candy dish is a lovely opaque sky-blue, with a slight shiny glaze to it. Each corner is subtly ruffled and the edges are scalloped. The interior of the dish is lined with butterflies, which give the piece yet another layer of astonishing detail. The underside of the dish has the genuine "Fenton" insignia from the 1970's. This Bon Bon is in excellent condition except for an imperfection on one of the handles. It looks like the glass was smudged when it was still hot, it doesn't seem to be a chip. It is a truly lovely vintage piece.
