WOW!!! No Really, WOW!!! This is an amazingly rare Walt Disney 1940 Fantasia #22 Nude Centaurette figurine. I have never seen one in such wonderful condition, I mean this thing looks new!
So way back in 1940, Vernon Kilns was commissioned by Walt Disney to produce a series of figurines for the debut of a new movie called "Fantasia". In this day and time we have all heard of fantasia a movie that was seen as being very racy for the times. This gorgeous figurine is #22 in a series of 36 pieces that Vernon Kilns designed. This highly collected and super rare piece features a Centaurette which is the female version of a Centaur. A Centaur is a mythical creatures which has a human body from the waist up and a horse body from the waist down.
This particular Centaurette has her arms raised above her head placing blue and pink flowers in her long flowing blond hair. This beautiful hair caresses down the flawless pale skin of her gorgeous face. Her eyes are a deep blue color which is accented by her orange eyebrows / eyelashes and her beautiful red lips. Her torso is nude with a blue flower covering her right breast. Below her waist is a light brown horse body with a bushy golden yellow tail. Her hoves are colored yellow as well and contrast against the long green blades of grass at her feet.
Reigning from 1940 you won't see too many of these figurines around, especially not in this gorgeous condition. This is your chance to own a rare piece of Disneyana history. If you are a Disney memorabilia collector this is sure to be one of the best additions to your collection.
