Boyds Bears Resin Figurine - St Nicholas' Chapel - Kringle's Village

I love the intricacy of this piece. It features a tiny rustic style chapel. The front of the building features two red double doors, with merry wreaths on each door. A huge, brightly colored stained glass window dominates one wall of the chapel, which almost looks as though it is twinkling with merriment. Freshly fallen snow is on the ground around the chapel, as are Christmas trees decked out with tinsel and garlands. The back of the chapel features a staircase to a small back door, with the sign "Wipe Yer Feet God Is Watching" hung merrily next to the doorway.

But there's more! The snow-covered roof can be lifted so that you can see the scene within the chapel. One room features a bear Pastor, holding the Bible and speaking two bear cubs who are each holding a book of their own. In the other room a small bear bundled in a winter sweater is resting.

This figurine is made by Boyds Bears, and is a part of the "Boyds Bearly-Built Villages" collection. This is entitled "Saint Nicholas Chapel" and is a part of "Frosty Shelter 8 in a Total of 8 in Kringle's Village." Its style number is 99933V and the Exclusive edition number 2385/15000 is handwritten on the underside. This intricate piece was handmade in 2002. It is in excellent condition and includes its original box. The box is special because it provides a little explanation about St. Nicholas' Chapel, and how it fits into Kringle's Village.
