Vintage Hemingray - Patent May 2 1893 - No. 12 Teal Green Glass Insulator

Thank goodness this vintage teal Hemingray No 12 insulator doesn't have to be used for its original purpose. Now it can be added to your collection, so that you can admire its steampunk flair all of the time.

After all, this collectible is a piece of history. Hemingrays were knights in shining armor to the telephone and telegraph when they first came to be. Hemingrays have been insulating cabling since the mid -1800s. Standing 3.5" tall, made of thick glass and a translucent teal green color, this piece is gorgeous. The round base features "Hemingray No 12" and "Patent May 2 1893" across the side, completing the authentic antique flavor.

This insulator is in Good Condition but has Some Flea Bites And A Couple Of Teeth Ends Are Chipped.
