What an awesome vintage collectible piece this is. Not only does it appeal to Tab collectors but to NFL Football collectors and fans as well. This vintage bottle cap is from 1965 and depicts NFL Player Matt Hazeltine.
These vintage Tab bottle caps were like collecting football cards, they were released with average players as well as all-star players. There were also Team Bottle caps that just showed the team logos. On the outside, the bottle cap features a pixilated red football and just below is the Tab Logo. On the inside of this particular NFL All Stars bottle cap, it features a picture of Matt Hazeltine who was a defensive linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers from 1955 - 1968 and was a 4th round draft pick coming from California as the 45th pick overall. Matt made 2 pro bowl appearances during his career.
