What an awesome vintage collectible piece this is. Not only does it appeal to Coca Cola collectors but to NFL Football collectors and fans as well. This coca cola bottle cap is from 1965 and depicts NFL Player John Unitas.

These vintage Coke bottle caps were like collecting football cards, they were released with average players as well as all-star players. There were also Team Bottle caps that just showed the team logos. On the outside the bottle cap features a pixilated red football above the word "Coke" and the words "King Size". On the inside of this particular Coca-Cola bottle cap, it features a picture of NFL All Star John Unitas who was a quarterback for the Baltimore Colts from 1956 - 1972 and was a 9th round draft pick coming from Louisville as the 102nd pick overall. Johnny Unitas is one of the most well known names in football history and he is a football Icon.
