The Fenton Art Glass Company has long tradition of producing top of the line American products out of Williamstown, West Virginia. In fact this tradition is over 100 years old as Fenton Glass was founded in Martins Ferry, Ohio in July 1905 by two brothers Frank L. Fenton and John W. Fenton. Soon after in 1907 the Fenton brothers opened a factory in Williamstown, WV and still operate out of Williamstown today. Fenton is not only the largest manufacturer of handmade colored glass in the U.S.A. but is considered one of the world's top producers of handmade art glass.
