Using our site

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it up to date.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been used without permission.

You agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• interfere with the site's security or operation, or attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use;
• use automated tools to scrape, copy or monitor the site without our written permission;
• post reviews or other content that is false, abusive, infringing or unrelated to the product.

Products, descriptions and pricing

Many of the items we sell are vintage, antique, collectible or replacement pieces. Unless a listing says an item is new, it is pre-owned and may show signs of age and use consistent with its condition. We describe and photograph each item as accurately as we can; colors and details may look slightly different on your screen.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Applicable sales tax and shipping are calculated at checkout. If an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any payment, even after an order confirmation has been sent.

Most items are one of a kind or available in limited quantities. Availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it, or cancel it after acceptance, for example if an item is unavailable, a payment cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund the payment.

Payment is taken when you place your order. Card payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number.

Shipping and in-store pickup

We ship to addresses in the United States using the carriers and services offered at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package to the shipping address you provided.

You may choose free in-store pickup at 44 W. Water St., Chillicothe, Ohio, when it is offered at checkout. Please wait for our notice that your order is ready and bring your order number. Orders not collected within a reasonable time may be cancelled and refunded.

If a package arrives damaged, please keep the packaging and contact us promptly so we can help.

Returns and refunds

Returns are handled under our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Personalized and custom-made items, such as custom signs made to your design, are made to order and are covered by the rules for personalized items in that policy.

Marketplace sellers

Some items on TGL Direct may be offered by independent sellers through our marketplace. Where an item is sold by a marketplace seller, that seller is responsible for the item, its description and its fulfillment, and TGL Direct facilitates the sale. Contact us if you have a problem with a marketplace order and we will help resolve it.

Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, photographs, logos and design, belong to TGL Direct or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Brand names and trademarks of products we sell belong to their respective owners; their use describes the item and does not imply endorsement.

By submitting a review, photo or other content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display and adapt it in connection with the site, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and products are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TGL Direct will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any product, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

You agree to indemnify TGL Direct against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how we collect and use your information and forms part of these Terms.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ross County, Ohio, unless the law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its “Last updated” date, applies to your use of the site and to orders placed after that date.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
